The Marin Hotel Collection is proud to be designated as Green Hotels. Each hotel has been certified by the County of Marin as being a green business and upholds a long list of standards that distinguish it as a certified green hotel. Some of these practices include:

• Shower amenities that come in either dispensers or biodegradable bottles
• Personal Care Bath products which are paraben & synthetic free and use essential oils instead of artificial chemicals
• Guestroom recycling receptacles, as well as in-house recycling practices
• Paper for Personal Care products which includes 100% post-consumer recycled content
• Optional linen service for guests
• Conscious energy-saving practices
• Fluorescent lighting wherever possible, using current technology to preserve lighting quality
• Water-conservation practices used in cleaning and landscaping
• Laundry detergents made from plant-based products and minimum amounts of harsh chemicals
